comme on avait peur qu’il nous échappe, on l’a fait à notre image ••

a movie idea
would be called ‘13* People’, would show people stuck in a room/house/other closed place
you’d progressively figure out there are only 12 characters showed

the latest scene would be a surrealistic sequence where the 12 characters would stop everything they did and stare at the camera

*or 7 ??

again, new. a new end
this was shorter

summer, smoke in the nose, windows open, the highway, sounds, drone, k w oohoo century / it began with muscle cars, birds singleness -singing, freedom, the mattress
sun sun sun summer
sweet blues, beige bricks, black cars on paved street
emptiness - freedom
general memories and recollections of summer even in (of) winter
skiing and aftermath
sparse people, scarce places, labyrinth, that dream

we’re futuristic

My friend from high school, Samantha Samuels wrote an amazing drunk/tired tumblr post one night, and I reeeeally wanted it to be a comic

I have a lot of trouble getting started on projects.

Even just sitting down and opening Photoshop or whatever. But I have no problem wasting hours and hours on the internet.

So I’m breaking this up into smaller, more manageable bits. I realized that I don’t have to draw this all in one sitting. And I don’t *have* to struggle with page layouts. I can do a panel per page. (Or not.) It doesn’t matter. I can just do this whenever I feel like it.
